Mid 1950s Style Acetate Souvenir Jacket "WHITE EAGLE" × "GOLD DRAGON
The "Year of the Dragon" collection is a reprinting of selected embroidered dragons from among many vintage Sukajans, in honor of the dragon, the Chinese zodiac sign for the year 2024.
The surface of the body and the bottom of the sleeves are all black, and an eagle is drawn with white-colored threads. Yellow colored thread is used for the eagle's beak and claws, and yellow lines are also used for the ribs, making the entire piece a sophisticated three-color composition of black, white, and yellow.
The reversible side features a golden dragon drawn with brightly colored threads against a background of Mt. At first glance, the yellow appears to be only one color, but in fact, the yellow of the dragon and the yellow of the clouds are embroidery threads of different colors, and multiple colored threads are used in gradations of shades of yellow. This is in accordance with vintage specifications, and the words "Tokyo Japan" at the top are also very rare. In addition to the dragon on the back, the eagle and tiger on the chest complete the three major motifs of the Sukajan, making this a luxurious piece."
