Charlie Brown and Snoopy joined the Apollo 10 mission as part of NASA’s historic lunar landing program.
This Apollo cap features an embroidered patch based on an illustration originally displayed at the Kennedy Space Center’s Mission Control Center, which was specially commissioned and created in the U.S.
“U.S.S. PRINCETON” is the name of the aircraft carrier tasked with recovering the command module “Charlie Brown” at sea after it returned to Earth following the mission.
The design captures the romance of space exploration history.
