The pin-up girl got her name from the fact that she would cut out bewitching beauties from entertainment magazines and pin them to the wall. During World War II, soldiers with an artistic bent used the A-2 as a canvas on which to paint pin-up girls as they pleased. The print on this T-shirt was created using a mesh of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black plates, with a special color decomposition process that utilizes all four plates to reproduce colors that closely resemble those of the original.”
