Crafted from domestically produced flannel fabric with a nostalgic feel, this piece is meticulously sewn at its own factory, Old Duct, offering a vintage feel and the highest standards of modern quality.
Its beautiful silhouette, designed to fit the Japanese body type, is also popular.
■A heavy flannel that feels just like wool
The fabric is made from 13-ounce heavy flannel, woven with a fourth-count thread, an unusually thick thread for a flannel shirt.
Its texture, reminiscent of wool-woven and compressed melton, gives it the nickname "cotton melton."
The multi-check pattern, exquisitely combining beige and black with a blue base, creates a subdued color scheme with soft tones throughout.
■Durable Vintage Stitching
The stitching is done at Deluxe Wear's own factory, Oldact, using a rare vintage sewing machine, the Union Special.
Two-needle chain stitching is used in areas that are subject to high stress, such as the shoulders and sides, for exceptional durability.
■Attention to Detail
The details, inspired by vintage shirts, are also a highlight.
The brand name is stitched on the back of the neck with a four-sided stitch.
The buttons used on each part have a recess in the center to prevent thread wear, giving it a work shirt-like construction.
Simple button-fastened patch pockets are placed on both chest areas.
By changing the orientation of the fabric, woven and check patterns add subtle accents.
The cuffs feature a hemline reminiscent of work shirts.
The hem has a classic rounded shape that extends from the center to the side.
A triangular gusset is used at the front and back seams, incorporating vintage shirt design details into every detail.
