This is Lot 605, a loose silhouette model of the "Rokumaru Series," a.k.a. Lot No. 600 series of Eight G.
The vintage-like 15-ounce selvedge denim fits in better as you wear it, making it one that you will grow to love.
The silhouette has a strong presence, and as you wear it, it will change over time with a sense of fullness, so you can look forward to the "fun of growing up" that only denim can offer.
These high quality jeans are made in Japan at a dedicated domestic factory without compromising the fabric and sewing, and embody the brand concept of "durable, easy to wear, and cool.

The fabric is a 15-ounce selvedge denim made of a high-density, 6- and 7-ply yarn of Supima cotton from the United States, which is considered the "highest quality cotton" among all types of cotton.
Cotton is classified by the length of its fibers, and Supima cotton is one of the longest, exceeding 35mm, and has excellent durability and strength due to fewer joints in the yarn.
The slow weaving process on old-style power looms produces a rustic atmosphere with an uneven weave and roughness that is close to the feeling of hand-woven fabrics, which is not possible with today's high-speed looms.
Since the fabric is not treated with shrink-proofing, you can enjoy the unique texture of vintage denim and its change over time.
The fluffiness seen on the surface of the fabric is originally removed in a process called "Kiba-Yaki," which is the proof that the fabric is raw.

The sewing process, which uses a number 0, 6, 8, and 20 count yarn depending on the area, uses core spun yarn (polyester core wrapped in cotton), which is superior to cotton yarn in terms of abrasion resistance, to withstand hard wear.
Corespun is a high-performance yarn that has the natural texture of natural fibers while maintaining the strength that is an advantage of synthetic fibers.
All processes up to the completion of the product are finished by the hands of skilled craftsmen in domestic factories exclusive to 8G, and the quality of the product is highly supported.

Based on the standard five-pocket jeans with timeless appeal, the details that follow the vintage style, such as the V-stitching seen on the side of the top button with its characteristic V-shaped fold and the hidden rivets on the back pocket backs.
The laurel buttons, familiar from the World War II models, give a rugged impression.

The leather label is made of high-grade cowhide leather.
The crotch rivets and offset center loops sewn diagonally to avoid hip seams have a classic look.
The copper rivets are the old-fashioned punched out type.
The coin pockets also have ears on the back, and the attention to detail in unseen areas gives the finished garment a craftsman-like quality.
On the right back pocket, the iconic "G" mark is stitched in.

The silhouette is a loose straight with a slight taper from the knees down.
The silhouette comes alive even when worn just the right size or even an inch larger.
Because the pattern was created through repeated trial and error, the exquisite silhouette looks beautiful from all angles, making it one that can be worn in a wide range of ways and enjoyed without getting tired of it.
The selvedge denim is characterized by its ear patterns, so it looks great when rolled up, giving you a wide range of coordination options.
