The "Ganryujima Model" is the final of Samurai Jeans' 25th Anniversary Special Models. Based on the regular straight model, S510XX, which is the origin of Samurai Jeans, the special 25 oz. denim, exclusive leather patches and flashers make it a fitting last piece for the 25th anniversary.
The front buttons use the gold buttons that have become a familiar feature of limited edition models. The 25th anniversary name on the waist and the Ganryujima print slake made especially for this model are highlights. The copper coin-shaped rivets and other standard Samurai details are also firmly in place.
The back of the jeans also has a special design that is exclusive to this model. The right back pocket has a double seagull stitch to represent Musashi's two swords, and the left has a seagull stitch using a thicker thread to represent Kojiro's sword. The patch is a memorial item with an image of the Battle of Ganryujima, a flasher, and a serial number on the patch.
The 25-ounce selvedge denim has a rugged texture, and the shiny gold thread ears are eye-catching. The powerful fading and ageing of the heavy ounce denim can also be expected. In addition, although the 25 oz. heavy-weight denim is used, the yokes and other parts where a lot of fabric overlaps are sewn with strong and firm seams. The silhouette is based on the S510XX, a regular straight that has wide support.
V-stitching and offset center loops are standard vintage details.
