This model is an officially licensed item from the popular American comic strip “PEANUTS.”
Featuring the series’ beloved characters Snoopy and Woodstock as the main subjects, this piece seamlessly blends them with Toys McCoy’s distinctive vintage aesthetic.
It features a vintage-inspired print based on “WORLD WAR 1 FLYING ACE” (Snoopy the Ace), who is famously depicted wearing goggles and a scarf.
It is said that there were more than 35 U.S. Army aviation units—both official and unofficial—that adopted Snoopy as their mascot, demonstrating just how beloved he was by the soldiers of that era.
For this piece, the design features the squadron insignia of the 120th Aviation Squadron, 1st Flight. A highlight is the rare graphic depicting Snoopy straddling the “UH-1D” helicopter operated by that unit.
