N-1 DECK JACKET MARILYN MONROE "MISS N.A.S."
Early N-1 deck jacket with VC-3 (3rd Mixed Air Force) SQ patch and wing insignia on the chest, custom made to aviator specifications.
The back of the jacket features a pinup of Marilyn Monroe being crowned "Miss NAS San Diego" in 1952, illustrated by Hiroshi Okamoto, and an embroidered patch depicting the pinup.
NAS" means "Naval Air Station" as indicated on the ribbon of the patch.
