In February 1954, Marilyn Monroe visited Japan on her honeymoon with Joe DiMaggio and, along with members of her band “ANYTHING GOES,” performed for U.S. military personnel at bases on the Korean Peninsula.
This design is inspired by the legendary concert held on the “Bulldozer Bowl” stage, which was hastily set up by the 2nd Infantry Division.
The front features a bold print of a photo of Marilyn Monroe and the 5th Air Force insignia.
The back is accented with Monroe’s signature, creating a simple yet striking piece.
